It’s technically a White Christmas! More snow on the way!
Temperatures in the single digits on Christmas morning! This is actually an improvement from the previous morning. Most of us feel -5 to -10 degrees. Winds are light, 10-15 mph.a wind chill warning In Fayette and Union counties, it remains in effect until noon today. Wind chill values in these areas could drop to -15 degrees this morning. Partially cloudy skies are expected, with highs in the mid-10s to 10s. Clouds will increase tonight as the Alberta Clipper approaches the Tri-State. Lows will drop into the single digits.
It will be snowing in the Tri-State by 5am. This continues into the morning and can get stronger by 8am. This is the time of year when we see short breaks, but temperatures never drop below freezing. The highest value will be in the mid-twenties. The snow will briefly return after 5pm and end around 10pm. Most of us can see up to an inch, but some places in Indiana see as little as an inch and a half. Lows go down to his late teens.
