Ripien agreed after the fact, saying there was no beef.
“It was just a misunderstanding,” Ripien said. “Dalton and I are really good friends. He thought I said something different.”
It was just one of several instances that looked bad for the Broncos on Sunday, leading to the franchise’s decision to fire its head coach.
