Take a look at this floating tiny home that can travel up to 31 miles a day on solar power
boat? small house? Hmm…it’s a bit of both.
The Fàng Sōng houseboat is a solar-powered motorboat with tiny house features that, according to its designers, Crossboundaries, is a “slow-motion moving nest.”

A bespoke project, this boat is 15m long and 4m wide.
Fàng Sōng can travel across rivers, lakes, and inland waterways, but not only in the open ocean.
“Fusamatsu” means “relax” in Chinese.
The kitchen has a pop-up dining table. There are also folding desks hidden in cabinets to provide temporary workspace.
There are multiple entrances on both sides of the boat for easy access. The bow side provides access to the main kitchen area.
The bathroom has a fairly large shower unit.
Under the floor of the living room is a stylish bicycle storage area.
According to Crossboundaries, the Fàng Sōng has an average range of 50 km (31 miles) per day on sunny days. In other words, it is not suitable for non-stop long-distance travel.
A pellet stove remotely controlled by an app helps keep the boat warm.
Crossboundaries said the boat’s owner plans to add a water purification system and a biological sewage treatment unit to enable longer journeys.
