In one of Fortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 1 Week 4 Challenges, players are asked to travel distance using Kinetic Orr. This guide details where it is and how it works.
During Chapter 4 Season 1, Fortnite will be adding new Weekly Challenges for players to complete.
These are time-limited objectives, so completing each challenge will reward you with tons of XP. Players can work on tasks in any order they like.
Notably, the weekly tasks themselves range from dealing damage with certain guns to gaining health under certain circumstances.
One of Week 4’s quests included the Kinetic Ore, so here’s everything players need to know.
What is Kinetic Ore?
A new element in the Fortnite world, the Kinetic Ore basically acts as a new method of high-speed travel.

As shown in the following HarryNintetyFour video, a rather large purple rock works so that the user can stand on it and be escorted to another part of the map.
Fortnite Kinetic Ore Locations
Players can find elements scattered throughout the crushed slabs, and there are many glowing rocks in the quarry area.
How to make movement distance using Kinetic Ore
Upon finding one of the large rocks, the user must hit it several times with a pickaxe to activate it.
A burst of energy emerges from the surface within seconds, allowing the player to travel long distances after climbing onto the ore.
The challenge has a total of five stages, requiring the player to move the Kinetic Ore several times until the task is completed.
