If you’re anything like us, the one bag you were worried about getting in 2022 was probably a food delivery bag.

Food is one of life’s greatest pleasures, and while the last few years haven’t been able to visit my favorite restaurants or seek out new ones, this year has proven to be a far cry from any foodie’s dream. I was. While many of us have improved our home-cooking skills and brought out our inner master chef, some have stepped out into the quirky hole-in-the-wall and found new places to satisfy our adventurous palates.Taste Atlas has put together a comprehensive delicious list of dishes that hungry gals have been salivating over the past 12 months.

No wonder the country of mozzarella, red wine, bread and garlic ranked first. Greek food followed closely behind, with a combination of olives, lamb, feta and spanakopita easily taking second place, we’re guessing. American cuisine overtakes French Fair, with North America ranked eighth and European nations close to number nine.
