Tesla Model Y is now the best-selling car in all of Europe

Tesla delivered about 20,000 Model Ys in Europe last month, according to data from Automotive News Europe.

Tesla sold 19,144 premium midsize SUVs, up more than 260% year-over-year. The electric model, which dropped out of the top 50 in October, has made a huge comeback just one month after finishing as a top seller across Europe.

Early data suggests that December will be an even bigger month.

The growing popularity of the Model Y in Europe coincides with Tesla ramping up Model Y production at Gigafactory Berlin.

The automaker recently confirmed that its factory is now producing 3,000 Model Ys a week. All of these vehicles are destined for the European market, and Tesla also ships vehicles to Europe from Gigafactory Shanghai.
