A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with an investigation into the murder of four University of Idaho students, two federal law enforcement sources confirmed to CNN on Friday.
The arrest in the fatal stabbing incident was made by the FBI in northeastern Pennsylvania, sources said.
A source told CNN the suspect, a man in his 20s, was arrested on Friday morning.
The Moscow Police Department of Idaho said it would hold a press conference Friday at 1:00 pm local time (4:00 pm ET) to announce the progress of the investigation.
The press conference took place a day after police said they had received about 20,000 tips through more than 9,025 emails, 4,575 phone calls, and 6,050 digital media submissions, and four students were killed off campus. Conducted over 300 interviews in cases of murder. House.
No suspects, motives, or weapons have been identified.

Police say a search continues for a white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra that was believed to have been near the house early in the morning of November 13.
The house where the killing took place will be cleared but remains an active crime scene under police custody, officials said Thursday.
Moscow police have worked with a property management service company to remove “potential biohazards and other harmful substances used in evidence collection,” the latest information said. The house will be handed over to a property management company.
