A Jan. 6 committee on the House of Representatives on Friday released more than 20 new minutes, including interviews with key members such as former President Donald Trump’s aides.
The transcript includes testimony from Rudy Giuliani, Jared Kushner, Mick Mulvaney, Cassidy Hutchinson, and Virginia “Ginny” Thomas.

Giuliani, who also served as the former president’s personal attorney, was also the lead architect of his attempt to overturn the 2020 election results.
CNN reported in May that the committee meeting lasted more than nine hours.

Hutchinson, who served as Mark Meadows’ chief of staff in President Trump’s White House, has been considered one of the most important witnesses before the committee on Jan. 6. She appeared before the committee in June. When he publicly testified, he became a prominent figure in the panel’s investigation.

CNN reported in March that Kushner, the former president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, was expected to appear on the House Select Committee.
A source familiar with the deposition told CNN that the interview lasted more than six hours.

Mulvaney served as Trump’s acting chief of staff until Meadows replaced the former president in March 2020.
In the aftermath of the January 6, 2021 attack on the United States Capitol, Mulvaney resigned his position as envoy to Northern Ireland. CNN reported in July that he testified before the commission.

Thomas, a conservative activist and wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, was interviewed by the selection committee. CNN first reported on her text messages she exchanged with Meadows in March. Text messages seen by CNN showed Thomas begging Meadows to continue his fight to overturn the election result.
CNN previously reported that she told the commission that her campaign was separate from her husband’s role on the country’s Supreme Court.
