Video shows car chase, arrest of man linked to Warren drug bust; 8 people arrested

Warren, Michigan – Warren Police have released ground and aerial video showing the arrest of a man linked to the car chase and subsequent large-scale drug bust.

Officials witnessed a drug deal going on between the two and tried to stop traffic at both, one stopped but the other fled.

A man and a woman were arrested from a parked car, police said. Officers found “large amounts” of fentanyl and crack cocaine, as well as methamphetamine.

A Michigan State Police helicopter helped Warren police track down a fleeing vehicle until the car crashed. Detroit, according to the authorities. The driver was detained.

Police said the arrest led to a search of the house. Authorities said they found methamphetamine, fentanyl, crack his cocaine, and manufacturing materials in his home. Police also found thousands of dollars in cash.

Eight Warren residents have been arrested, five of them facing felony drug charges, officials said.
