Food Bank RGV director’s remarks at Prosperity Task Force meeting
Edinburgh, Texas – Omar I. Rodriguez, Director of Grants and Government Relations, Food Bank RGV, is a member of the Hidalgo County Prosperity Task Force.
The Task Force was established by Justice Richard Cortez to tackle Hidalgo County’s high poverty rates.
The task force recently met at the Hidalgo County Commissioner’s Court.
In his remarks at the conference, Rodriguez praised Cortez for recognizing that people are the greatest assets of a region. There are others,” said Rodriguez.
