“You Can Afford A Driver”: Kapil Dev’s Message To Rishabh Pant After Car Accident

Indian wicket keeper batter Rishab Pant escaped a fatal car crash on December 30th. While driving a luxury car, Punt reportedly fell asleep while driving from Delhi to Roorkee. “It’s a lesson learned. When I was still an up-and-coming cricketer, I had a motorcycle accident. Since that day, my brother wouldn’t even let me touch my bike. Rishabh pants are safe,” said Kapil Dev. said.

Punt suffered two cuts to his forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee, multiple burns and numerous other minor injuries, according to the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI). The 25-year-old is said to be stable and he has already been moved out of the ICU.
